Officers of the Reunion
The first officer of the family was Jonathan D. Southwick, elected Secretary in 1862 at the third annual meeting. The following year the family also elected Pliny B. Southwick, President; John D. Merrill, Vice President; and Thomas W. Wheeler, Treasurer. From that point onward, elections have been conducted every three years, resulting in the appointment of 13 Presidents, 21 Vice Presidents, 12 Secretaries, 8 Treasurers, 6 Statisticians, 9 Collectors, and 1 IT Coordinator over a span of 160 years.
